No Extra Half Hour for Lane 6 nor Lane 7 (Jnr Sqd) on Friday 20th & 27th October 17 Oct 2023

Don’t forget there is no Extra Half Hour in the Small Pool for Lane 6, nor Lane 7 of Junior Squad on both the Friday 20th and 27th October 2023. Normal Junior Training Sessions are running as normal for the main session time of 6.00-7.00pm.

Kent Junior League - Final Round Result 25 Sep 2023

Well done to our swimmers on their fantastic team result from Saturday 23rd September. Our team of swimmers aged 9-13 years old have won the Final Round of the Kent Junior League Group B Division over the weekend. And they have also won the Group B League too! We are very proud of our team of swimmers who have swum over the past three Rounds to gain this result. Well done team HBSC :)

Presentation Evening 2023 - Friday 10th November 17 Sep 2023

Tickets are now available to buy from committee members in the Hat Hats cafe at Herons Leisure Centre. Check the club Facebook page for details on times and when tickets can be purchased. We will have a raffle, photographer and a disco after the presentation of awards and speeches. Adults = £6.00 per ticket Children under 18 = £2.00 per ticket

No Club Training on Bank Holiday Monday 28th Aug 26 Aug 2023

Don’t forget there is no Club Training on the Late Summer Bank Holiday Monday 28th August 2023 for both Junior and Senior Squads. Back to normal training on Tuesday 29th Aug for Senior Herons Squad. Junior Herons Squad resumes on the Thursday 31st Aug. Enjoy the last of the summer and be ready for the start of new season!

Back to normal Club training for our Junior and Senior Squads - Monday 21st Aug 21 Aug 2023

Welcome back everyone! We hope you've all enjoyed the fortnight break and are fully rested! We resume normal Club training tonight (Monday 21st Aug) and onwards for both our Junior and Senior Herons Squads at Herons Pool. We look forward to seeing our swimmers back at training.

Last training session before summer break is Sunday 6th Aug 2023 06 Aug 2023

Our last training session before our fortnight Summer break is on Sunday 6th August 2023. There will be no Club training between Monday 7th and Sunday 20th August 2023 inclusive. Enjoy the break and we look forward to seeing everyone back after some much deserved R&R! We return back to normal Club training on Monday 21st August 2023.

Sunday 2nd July 2023 - Open Session 09 Jul 2023

Thank you to all the parents/ carers who brought their swimmers to the pool last weekend to our Open Session on Sunday 2nd July. We had a fantastic turnout with lots of swimmers trying out last weekend. We have sent an email to every attendee. If you attended and have not received an email from us please do check your spam folder just in case our email(s) have landed in there. Should you still not have received your email, please do get in touch and contact us through our website.

23 Apr 2024Tuesday 23rd April 2024 - Club Champs Session 4 (200m IM) - No Club Training
Our Club Champs 2024 Session 4 for the Lanes 1-6 (plus invites only) is on Tuesday 23rd April 2024 at Whitstable. Acceptances have all been sent out by email to everyone. Reminders have also been emailed out to remind there is no training on the 23rd April. Session 4 will be a fantastic opportunity for Lanes 1-6 (and a few invites from Lane 7) to gain racing experince in a familar setting and to gain a first time or new PB in their 200m Individual Medley Event. The Session 4 is for Lanes 1-6 inclusive plus a few invites from Lane 7. The Session 4 is Licensed as a Level 4 competition, so any early qualifying times could be bagged for next years Kent County Champs. No regular Senior Training will run on Tuesday 23rd April 2024 if you are not participating in this Session's Event(s). Non-participant Club members who wish to support their team mates are of course more than welcome to watch the Session on Tuesday 23rd April from the Reception area.

Our Club Champs 2024 Session 3 is only for those swimmers who have applied to enter the 800m Event. It is on Tuesday 19th March 2024 at Whitstable. Accepted Entries have all been sent out by email to everyone. Reminders have also been emailed out there is no training to those who declined their invite or did not respond to the 800m Event Invite. No further entries can be accepted due to Session time constraints. Session 3 will be a fantastic opportunity for swimmers to gain long distance racing experince in a familar setting and to gain a first time or new PB in their 800m Freestyle Event. The Session 3 is only for those swimmers who have applied and have been accepted to enter the 800m by the Closing Date. Session 3 is Licensed as a Level 4 competition, so any early qualifying times could be bagged for next years Kent County Champs. No regular Senior Training will run on Tuesday 19th March 2024 if you are not participating in this Session's Event. Non-participant Club members who wish to support their team mates are of course more than welcome to watch the Session on Tuesday 19th March from the Reception area.

The Session 1B is for Lanes 1-5 inclusive for all Senior Squad swimmers who have accepted their Invite by the Closing Date. The Senior Session 1B is Licensed as a Level 4 competition, so any early qualifying times could be bagged for next years Kent County champs. No regular Club Training Session will run on Friday 1st March 2024 if you are not participating in this Session's Event(s). Non-participant Club members who wish to support their team mates are of course more than welcome to watch the Session on Friday 1st March from the blacony area.
