Club Champs Sunday 28 April 2019 27 Apr 2019

***Sunday 28 April 2019*** 1500m Event of Club Champs Sign-In Registration Desk opens at 5.00pm and closes at 5.30pm when Warm-up begins. Club Champs Warm-Up finishes at 5.55pm on Sunday 28 April 2019 for the 1500m event at Whitstable Swimming Pool. All Seniors; and invited Juniors only (plus dual registered who have submitted their entry) should arrive at 5.00pm to sign-in to register. If you think you might be late you must get an urgent message to the Club to advise. Only Juniors who have been sent a Head Coaching Group personal invite to the 1500m, should arrive at 5.00pm to Sign-In to register. NO Seniors/ NO Juniors regular training on Sunday 28th April. Please only arrive at Whitstable this Sunday if you are competing. Good luck to our swimmers competing on Sunday!

***Sunday 17 March 2019*** Juniors Only Club Champs Juniors Registration Desk opens at 4.30pm and closes at 5pm when Warm-up begins Juniors Only Club Champs Warm-Up starts at 5pm on Sunday 17 March 2019 with the 25m Sprints novice events at Whitstable Swimming Pool. THIS IS AN EARLIER START THAN NORMAL. ALL Juniors who have submitted their on-line entry confirmation should arrive at 4.30pm to Sign-In to register. Juniors please only arrive at Whitstable this Sunday if you have submitted your Club Champs on-line entry for the 25m Sprints Events. Good luck to our Juniors competing on Sunday Juniors who have NOT submitted an on-line entry form should NOT attend this Sunday Session.

Thanet Development Gala - Sat 2 March 2019 02 Mar 2019

Good luck to all of our swimmers competing at the Thanet Development Gala at Hartsdown on Saturday 2nd March 2019 The Gala starts its Session One at midday for warm up. And continues to the Session Two in the afternoon at 4.00pm warm up. Arrive 30 minutes BEFORE Warm-Up begins and register in with Lee. It’s a great opportunity for some of youngest swimmers to gain gala experience, and for the older hands to improve their swim times. We have 60 of our Herne Bay swimmers aged between 9-16 years old entered tomorrow in their individual events. Our swimmers will be busy racing in a total of over 200 individual events between them over the day. Special mentions go to twelve of our young Junior Swimmers who will be competing in their first Open Gala, and for some its also their first ever competition! You have to start somewhere and there’s no better place to begin than with your swimming friends at a nice nearby venue.?? Some of our newest and youngest competitors to this gala arent even 9 yet, so we have lots of our Club Coaches & older swimmers who will be taking extra special care of them all. Enjoy yourselves swimmers & parents/carers, and have a great time. Swimmers bring back lots of new PBs, and a few medals would be very nice too!

Unfortunately, there will be no training for Senior Squad tonight due to an earlier issue this afternoon at Whitstable Swimming Pool. Normal training resumes on Thursday for both Junior and Senior Squad. We are sorry we cannot run any training tonight.

The Club will have a fortnight break in the school summer holidays when no training sessions will be running. Last Club training sessions will be on Sunday 3rd August. We will have no Club Training from Monday 4th August to Sunday 17th August 2025 inclusive. All training sessions will be back running again from Monday 18th August and onwards. Enjoy the summer break!

Session 10 in our series of Club Championships Sessions for 2025. Session 10 is for Lanes 1 to 10 (who have previously accepted their Invite by the Closing Date for Entries) and is on Friday 11th July at Herons. Acceptances will be sent out by email to everyone. Reminders will also be emailed out to advise there is no Junior nor Senior Squad training on the Friday 11th July due to Club Champs. Session 10 should be a fantastic session and opportunity for our Lanes 1-10, to gain racing experience in a familiar setting, and to gain a first time or new PB in their 200m Breaststroke and 50m Freestyle Events. Session 10 is Licensed as a Level 4 competition, so any early qualifying times could be bagged for next years Kent County Champs. No regular Junior nor Senior Squad Training will run on Friday 11th July 2025 if you are not participating in this Session's Event(s). Non-participant Club members who wish to support their team mates are of course more than welcome to watch the Session on Friday 11th July from the viewing area. Good luck to all our swimmers!!
