The Club will be following closely the guidance issued by the Goverment and Public Health England, together with any additional measures that apply to the swimming world as recommended by Swim England, for the ongoing and ever evolving situation regarding the spread, and measures to control, the new virus Coronavirus (COVID-19).

We would like to remind all swimmers of the essential need to reinforce following good hygiene practises:

"to shower before using the pool, to shower on leaving the pool and to follow the necessary hygiene precautions when visiting public places to help reduce the risk of infection. These include washing your hands for at least 20 seconds, cover your mouth and nose with a tissue or your sleeve (not your hands) when you cough or sneeze and do not touch your eyes, nose or mouth if your hands are not clean.
Most importantly, if you feel unwell, please avoid using the pool."

If you are advised to stay at home on returning back to the UK from a trip overseas, or have had contact with someone who may have Coronavirus, you must follow the guidance of the authorities and your school/ college/ work place, and miss your swimming sessions for the appropriate time scale if you are told to remain at home.
