Competitive Age Group Swimmers wanting to Join our Senior Herons Squad

We welcome enquiries from established competitive Age Group Swimmers who are interested in joining our Senior Herons Squad. We schedule Trials for established competitive swimmers for our Senior Herons Squad during a regular Senior Training Session.

Our Senior Squad trains in the evenings. Check out our Club Calendar for our Senior Squad times and training pool loactions. Our most experienced Squad swimmers now have up to five sessions available per week, with up to 11.5 hours pool time available.

13 May 2025Club Champs - Monday 19th May - 100m Fly & 50m Breaststroke
Session 6 in our series of Club Championships Sessions for 2025. Session 6 is for Lanes 1 to 9 plus Invites and is on Monday 19th May at Herons. Acceptances have all been sent out by email to everyone. Reminders have also been emailed out to advise there is no Junior nor Senior Squad training on the Monday 19th May due to Club Champs. Session 6 should be a fantastic session and opportunity for our Lanes 1-9 plus invites, to gain racing experience in a familiar setting, and to gain a first time or new PB in their 100m Butterfly and/or 50m Breastroke Events. Session 6 is Licensed as a Level 4 competition, so any early qualifying times could be bagged for next years Kent County Champs. No regular Junior nor Senior Squad Training will run on Monday 19th May 2025 if you are not participating in this Session's Event(s). Non-participant Club members who wish to support their team mates are of course more than welcome to watch the Session on Monday 19th May from the viewing area. Good luck to all our swimmers!!

No Junior nor Senior Squad Club Training Sessions will be running due to our Session 7 of our Club Champs.
13 May 2025Club Champs - Friday 23rd May - 200m Fly & 50m Backstroke
Session 7 in our series of Club Championships Sessions for 2025. Session 7 is for Lanes 1 to 10, who have accepted their Invite to Club Champs by their Closing Date, and is on Friday 23rd May at Herons. Acceptances will soon be sent out by email to everyone. Reminders will also be emailed out to advise there is no Junior nor Senior Squad training on the Friday 23rd May due to Club Champs. Session 7 should be another fantastic session and opportunity for our Lanes 1-10, to gain racing experience in a familiar setting, and to gain a first time or new PB in their 200m Butterfly and/or 50m Backstroke Events. Session 7 is Licensed as a Level 4 competition, so any early qualifying times could be bagged for next years Kent County Champs.
