Arena League Round One

With a tremendous team spirit and excellent swimming from each member of the team (from Herne Bay and Faversham), we won this round of the prestigious Arena League. A hard fought victory where every point counted, we managed to gain the lead at around the halfway point and managed to hold on until the end. Particularly good swims from our relay teams which shows the breadth of talent within the two clubs. The little ticks show where a Personal Best was achieved.

18 Mar 2024Tuesday 19th March 2024 - Club Champs Session 3 (800m Free) - No Club Training
Our Club Champs 2024 Session 3 is only for those swimmers who have applied to enter the 800m Event. It is on Tuesday 19th March 2024 at Whitstable. Accepted Entries have all been sent out by email to everyone. Reminders have also been emailed out there is no training to those who declined their invite or did not respond to the 800m Event Invite. No further entries can be accepted due to Session time constraints. Session 3 will be a fantastic opportunity for swimmers to gain long distance racing experince in a familar setting and to gain a first time or new PB in their 800m Freestyle Event. The Session 3 is only for those swimmers who have applied and have been accepted to enter the 800m by the Closing Date. Session 3 is Licensed as a Level 4 competition, so any early qualifying times could be bagged for next years Kent County Champs. No regular Senior Training will run on Tuesday 19th March 2024 if you are not participating in this Session's Event. Non-participant Club members who wish to support their team mates are of course more than welcome to watch the Session on Tuesday 19th March from the Reception area.

Our Club Champs 2024 Session 2 for the Lanes 1-7 only is on Tuesday 5th March 2024 at Whitstable. Acceptances have all been sent out by email to everyone. It's the start of our Club Champs 2024 with Session1A for the Juniors only and Session 1B for the Seniors Only on Friday 1st March 2024 at Herons. Acceptances have all been sent out by email to everyone. Reminders have also been emailed out to remind there is no training to those who declined their invite or did not respond. Session 1A will be a fantastic opportunity for new Juniors (and not so new Juniors) to gain racing experince in a familar setting, and for Seniors Squad to gain a first time or new PB in their 400m IM. The Session 1A is for Lanes 6-10 inclusive for all Junior Squad swimmers who have accepted their Invite by the Closing Date. The Session 1B is for Lanes 1-5 inclusive for all Senior Squad swimmers who have accepted their Invite by the Closing Date. The Senior Session 1B is Licensed as a Level 4 competition, so any early qualifying times could be bagged for next years Kent County champs. No regular Club Training Session will run on Friday 1st March 2024 if you are not participating in this Session's Event(s). Non-participant Club members who wish to support their team mates are of course more than welcome to watch the Session on Friday 1st March from the blacony area.

Invites for our our Club Champs have been sent out last week. Reminders have been sent out yesterday to those last few left to respond, as there is less than a fortnight left to accept your invite!! Please ensure that you accept your invite via the On-Line link sent with your email (one email per swimmer, so siblings must accept their personal named invite please!). Closing Date is 20th Feb 2024 for accepting your Invite to Club Champs. This Session will be the final opportunity to gain a new 50m PB in time for the County Champs 2024 Qualifying window, as well show off those skills you've been acquiring to your parents/ carers! The Session is for Lanes 1-10 inclusive for all Senior Squad and all Junior Squad swimmers who have accepted their Invite by the Closing Date. The 50m Sprints Session is Licensed as a Level 4 competition. No regular Club Training Session will run on Friday 12th Jan 2024 if you are not participating in this Session's Event(s). Non-participant Club members who wish to support their team mates are of course more than welcome to watch the Session on Friday 12th January from the blacony area.
