Well done to all swimmers who represented Herne Bay in Kent Junior League at Beckenham Spa Leisure Centre on Saturday 17/10/14. Herne Bay Swim Club finished third but were only 1 point behind Edenbridge in second so we did incredibly well, including some fantastic relay wins.
There were new PBs for Zack Rothman, Polly McCurrach, Lacey Compton, Ollie Carmen, Joseph Hunt, Sydney Bexley, Owen Head, Bella Butcher, Kieran Stubbs, Niall Beamont, Lucy Taunton, Chase Butcher, Charley Langford, Ella Kimble, Rhys Rogers, Joanna Ware, Thomas House, Imogen Douglas, Gabriella Rothman, Jake Alberga, Lewis Douglas, Lucia Capelett, Ella Walton and Mia Lamb.
A great night was had by all who accompanied the team to Bexley on the coach and we are looking forward to next season !
- 23 Apr 2024Tuesday 23rd April 2024 - Club Champs Session 4 (200m IM) - No Club Training
Our Club Champs 2024 Session 4 for the Lanes 1-6 (plus invites only) is on Tuesday 23rd April 2024 at Whitstable. Acceptances have all been sent out by email to everyone. Reminders have also been emailed out to remind there is no training on the 23rd April. Session 4 will be a fantastic opportunity for Lanes 1-6 (and a few invites from Lane 7) to gain racing experince in a familar setting and to gain a first time or new PB in their 200m Individual Medley Event. The Session 4 is for Lanes 1-6 inclusive plus a few invites from Lane 7. The Session 4 is Licensed as a Level 4 competition, so any early qualifying times could be bagged for next years Kent County Champs. No regular Senior Training will run on Tuesday 23rd April 2024 if you are not participating in this Session's Event(s). Our Club Champs 2024 Session 3 is only for those swimmers who have applied to enter the 800m Event. It is on Tuesday 19th March 2024 at Whitstable. Accepted Entries have all been sent out by email to everyone. Reminders have also been emailed out there is no training to those who declined their invite or did not respond to the 800m Event Invite. No further entries can be accepted due to Session time constraints. Session 3 will be a fantastic opportunity for swimmers to gain long distance racing experince in a familar setting and to gain a first time or new PB in their 800m Freestyle Event. The Session 3 is only for those swimmers who have applied and have been accepted to enter the 800m by the Closing Date. Session 3 is Licensed as a Level 4 competition, so any early qualifying times could be bagged for next years Kent County Champs. No regular Senior Training will run on Tuesday 19th March 2024 if you are not participating in this Session's Event. The Session 1B is for Lanes 1-5 inclusive for all Senior Squad swimmers who have accepted their Invite by the Closing Date. The Senior Session 1B is Licensed as a Level 4 competition, so any early qualifying times could be bagged for next years Kent County champs. No regular Club Training Session will run on Friday 1st March 2024 if you are not participating in this Session's Event(s).
