Welcome to Herne Bay Lifeguard & Swimming Club

Herne Bay Lifeguard and Swimming Club is a successful, competitive club with swimmers competing at County, Southern County and National Levels. The club is divided into four sections, three Junior and a Masters section for older teenagers and adults.

Children wishing to join are asked to come for a trial where their abilities and potential are assessed. If selected, they undergo a three-month trial period in the Feeder Squad or Swim Club.

Those wishing to join the competiive Senior Squad should have a proven track record with another club. Attendance, behaviour and improvement in technique are assessed and completion of a successful trial period leads to full acceptance into the club.
